Bald Eagle & Nest at the Edge of #Bozeman
Ex called me a short time ago to tell me about a pair of bald eagles she saw while she and C were out running errands. I grabbed my camera and headed there. When I go there, there was only one. I parked about 100 yards away and started walked towards him. I managed to snap one picture of him in the tree before he took off.
All I was able to get after that shot was his showing me his behind and he flew two miles to the south and out of sight. I waited for about 20 minutes, but my hands were starting to freeze so I left.
He never came back, but I snapped a few more pics while I was there. The second to last picture is of their nest. The last one is a view of the Bridger Mountains (with a filter effect) from where I was was waiting for the eagle's return.
